AFRICA TRAVEL ASSOCIATION™ Promotional Road Shows

ATA organizes promotional road shows for member countries in North American cities, such as New York, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Atlanta, Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa. These tours showcase destinations in Africa to industry professionals, the media and African Diaspora communities. Road Show delegates usually include senior travel specialists from the public and private sectors.

ATA to Launch Three City (Chicago, Atlanta, LA) Road Show to Promote Destination Egypt

ATA will launch a three-city visit to promote Destination Egypt. The promotional tour aims to showcase Egypt as an African destination for travelers and tourists worldwide, and as the site of ATA’s 34th Annual ATA Congress, to be held from May 17-21, 2009 in Cairo.

Partnering with the ATA Chicago Chapter, Adventures in Travel Expo Chicago, and the American Society of Travel Agents-Midwest Chapter, ATA will organize the first special networking reception in Chicago on January 9, from 6-8:00 pm at Petterino’s restaurant.

The American Society of Travel Agents-Atlanta Chapter will co-host the second networking event in Atlanta on January 26, following the Atlanta Travel Expo Show at the Cobb Galleria Center from January 23-25.

The final stop on the road show will be Los Angeles on Monday, February 16. Details on the location and time of the event will follow shortly.
