U.S.-Africa Tourism Seminars

With a focus on the US consumer and travel industry trade marketplace, this annual seminar showcases Africa as a top tourism destination for US tourists with a special focus on timely industry topics, such as sports tourism, adventure travel, culture and heritage travel and the role of the African diaspora in tourism promotion. From this perspective, Africa is viewed as a site for exploration and business for individuals and companies searching for new travel products and revenue streams. ATA’s U.S.-Africa Seminars take place in conjunction with a leading travel trade show in the U.S. A special effort is made to reach out to travel agents and tour operators, as well as the African diplomatic community, to participate in this event.
