ATA is proud to partner with the following organizations:
The Africa Airline Association (AFRAA), a non-profit organization that aims to establish harmonious and effective cooperation between African airlines, and ATA signed a partnership agreement in 2006 dedicated to increasing travel to Africa and promoting the marketing of African-based airlines.
New York University's Africa House, an inter-disciplinary institute devoted to the study of Africa, and ATA partner on a number of initiatives, such as ATA's annual Presidential Forum on Tourism and special educational and networking event. Africa House and ATA will also launch a joint research project together in the fall of 2009.

The African Union (AU), an intergovernmental organization representing the African states, and ATA are currently in the process of forming a strategic alliance dedicated to increasing travel and tourism to the African continent.
The All-China Federation of Industry Commerce, an organization comprising entrepreneurs and pan-tourism businesses from mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau, and ATA engaged in an alliance to increase travel to Africa from China in 2006.Since then, members from each organization have participated in and presented at annual congresses.
China Business Network, in affiliation with the China Travel and Tourism club (CTTC), and ATA formed a partnership in 2008 dedicated to increasing interest in and visibility of travel and tourism opportunities to and within Africa and China.

Corporate Council on Africa (CCA), a leading resource for U.S. companies currently, or exploring the possibilities, of doing business on the African continent, and ATA have worked together on a number of initiatives, including organizing special networking events in Washington, D.C. and workshops on travel and tourism at CCA summits in South Africa and the USA.

Dubai World Africa (DWA), a subsidiary of the holding company, Dubai World responsible for the development of assets in Africa and the Indian Ocean region, signed on as ATA's first Premier Partner (corporate sponsor) in 2008, providing ATA with critical support to bring the world to Africa and to promote investment in the travel and tourism industry.

The National Tour Association (NTA), the preferred American travel industry trade association for packaged travel professionals, recently signed a partnership agreement to work together on networking and educational opportunities. NTA and ATA members can join either organization with a 50% discount on respective due rates.
ATA has worked with the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), a membership association acting as a catalyst for the responsible development of the Asia Pacific travel and tourism industry, since 2005 to promote cooperation between the two travel trade associations. PATA and ATA enjoy reciprocal membership affiliation and are committed exploring avenues of cooperation in the areas of climate change and industry expansion.
ATA has partnered with Passport Health to ensure that those traveling to Africa are well protected. The United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA), an association representing the tour operator industry and comprising companies whose tours and packages encompass the entire globe and who conduct business in the U.S., work together to promote Africa as a travel destination among tour operators. The associations also share reciprocal membership agreements.
